ecofest_A-Spot

In a world grappling with the consequences of climate change and social inequities, ecoFEST embodies our unwavering commitment to creating a sustainable environment and uplifting Black communities that have historically born the brunt of environmental injustices. Taking place on April 20, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the historic, Belmont Mansion in Fairmount Park (2000 Belmont Mansion Drive, Philadelphia), the day will include:

Panel discussions: These conversations will explore nature as a sanctuary from violence and amplify the voices of young environmental justice advocates shaping our future.

Musical performances: Philadelphia’s talented musicians will grace the One Art Community Center stage, infusing joy into our shared commitment to environmental preservation.

Vendor showcase: A diverse array of vendors will offer sustainable products, championing both environmental responsibility and social equity.

Education and advocacy: Attend empowering workshops about inequities, green communities and more to discover accessible opportunities to engage with environmental justice in ways large and small.

Community engagement: Connect with like-minded attendees, exchange ideas and uncover avenues to engage in impactful initiatives that drive positive change.

Mark your calendars for a day dedicated to shaping resilient and vibrant Black futures. We look forward to seeing you there and please be sure to register here so that we know you’re coming through! This event is free and open to the public.!
